Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 May 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Randewu (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use our website (randewu.app), our web application (web.randewu.app), and related event networking services.
The data controller is Mk Consulting Michał Klepaczko, al. Solidarności 117/207, 00-140 Warszawa, Poland, NIP 5252285803. You can contact us at kontakt@randewu.app.
2. What Randewu does
Randewu is a professional event networking platform. It enables event check-in (including QR check-in), attendee profiles, relevance-based matching, curated introductions, meeting suggestions, and organizer insights. Randewu is designed for professional events—not for dating or romantic matching.
3. Categories of personal data
Depending on your role (organizer, attendee, or visitor), we may process:
- Identity and contact data (e.g. name, email address, phone number if provided).
- Professional profile data (e.g. organization, role, sector, interests, networking goals, biography).
- Event data (events you create or join, check-in status, participation, preferences for a given event).
- Networking and interaction data (matches, introduction suggestions, meeting requests, messages or prompts where enabled).
- Technical data (IP address, device/browser type, session identifiers, logs, cookies and similar technologies).
- Communications with us (support requests, demo or contact enquiries).
4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing the service (account, event spaces, check-in, matching, introductions) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests where applicable).
- Operating, securing, and improving the platform — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Analytics and product development in aggregated or pseudonymized form where possible — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Compliance with legal obligations — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Marketing to existing users about Randewu features, where permitted — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or consent where required.
- Sharing with partners as described in Section 6 — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and/or Art. 6(1)(b) where necessary to deliver event-related services you use.
5. Event organizers and attendees
If you attend an event, the event organizer may determine certain profile fields, matching rules, or visibility settings. The organizer acts as an independent controller for their event management activities. We process data on behalf of delivering the Randewu service to organizers and attendees as described in this Policy.
Where you check in via QR or link, you join the event space associated with that organizer. Please review any additional notices the organizer may provide at the event.
6. Sharing with partners and subprocessors
We may share personal data with trusted partners where necessary to operate Randewu, deliver event-related functionality, or support organizers and attendees. This may include:
- Technology providers (hosting, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, security).
- Event partners, co-organizers, sponsors, or community partners connected to an event you join or create, where sharing is relevant to networking, check-in, or event operations.
- Professional advisers or authorities when required by law.
6.1. Safeguards
Partners are required to process data only for specified purposes and with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data. Where partners act as independent controllers, their own privacy notices may apply to their further use of data.
A current list of key subprocessors may be provided on request at kontakt@randewu.app.
7. International transfers
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or transfers to countries covered by an adequacy decision, where applicable.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including providing the service, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Event-related data may be retained for a limited period after an event unless deleted earlier by the organizer or applicable settings. You may request deletion subject to Section 9.
9. Your rights
Under GDPR, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Erase data (“right to be forgotten”) in certain cases.
- Restrict processing in certain cases.
- Data portability for data you provided, where applicable.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
9.1. How to exercise your rights
To exercise your rights, contact kontakt@randewu.app. We may need to verify your identity.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and web app may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, and analytics. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the service works.
11. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls and encryption in transit where supported. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12. Children
Randewu is intended for professional events and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
